Practise vehicle knowledge and dashboard lights

What does that light mean? Red means stop, amber means act soon.

Vehicle knowledge is one of the 8 parts of the CBR exam. You get questions about warning lights, tyres, lights and what you may tow with a B licence.

With every question you see the dashboard as in your own car, with the light that is on.

Need to know

  • A red light means danger. Stop as soon as it is safe.
  • An amber light means: take care, have it checked soon.
  • The high beam indicator light is blue.
  • Your tyre tread must be at least 1.6 millimetres.
  • With a B licence you may tow a trailer up to 750 kg. Heavier is allowed if car and trailer together weigh no more than 3500 kg.
