Practise parking and stopping
Where can you stop, where can you park and where neither?
Parking questions are often about the difference between stopping and parking. That difference is small, but in the exam it counts.
Also look at the kerb. Yellow lines tell you a lot.
Need to know
- Don't park within 5 metres of a junction.
- A solid yellow line: no stopping. A broken yellow line: no parking.
- In a blue zone you park with a parking disc.
- Don't park in front of an exit, on a zebra crossing or on a cycle path.
- You may also park on the left if there's no ban.
